Sylvia T Designs Delivers Another Great New Orleans Space!

Claret, the new wine and cocktail bar by Latter Hospitality, owners of Tujague’s and Bar Frances, is now open on Magazine St. in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans. The great new space features terrific mixed drinks, an extensive wine list, and delicious small plates.

We delivered numerous components as well as tying in the overall appearance and feel of Claret. We delivered the space’s color palette, combining a modern look that harnesses the abundant natural light from the large windows. We worked closely with the owners in facilitating and making the interior finish selections including the furniture, fixtures, lighting, the marble bar top, the tiled bar façade, wall tiles, and flooring. We also added instances of ornamental painting in the space. Two significant deliverables were the feature wall, an aged plaster stencil, and a colorful finish in the restrooms.

Claret also boasts a great patio with a retractable awning and fans, allowing for comfortable year-round use. They are open seven days a week. See their website here for operating hours and more info. Go and check them out and tell them Sylvia T Designs sent you!

Thanks, also, to Sam Hanna of Sam Hanna Foto for providing several of the pictures in this post.
